Roxoar Reference Sheet

Oookay here, so I decided to join this upcoming round, I couldn't decide which character to enter, and probably ended up concidering half the people I ever created. However, I ended up going with Roxoar because he's one of those characters that is vitally important to the story, but for some reason you just forget about. So, *cracks knuckles* onto the description!

Personality: In a few words, Roxoar is quiet, somewhat shy, and reserved. He prefers to sit in the backround, unnoticed, until he is needed; after he is done being needed, he goes back to where he was before. He knows what his job is and gets it done. He doesn't like to meet new people, although the nature of his job requires it. He likes the quiet life, without conflict, without anything too terribly exciting, and with the small number of people he would call his friends. His circle of friends includes his family, a few friends of his family, Ahrmahn, and Darcog and Trina [link] Darcog is also his master and best friend. Roxoar likes to talk to girls about 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times less than he likes talking to guys. He has absolutely no love interest whatsoever with anyone. Ever. (I don't even know what that number is!)

The Djynn: In his world, a djynn is classified as a special subspecies of the miren. A djynn is, at birth, a vessel magician (that is, a magician that can contain a great amount of magic, but is generally unable to use it or control it on his own) that looks exactly like any other miren. However, it has been found that taking a djynn through a difficult and highly secretive secret process will enhance his inate magic powers so they are usable and much more powerful. However, the djynn must be telepathically bound to another person, or master, to use the magic. The master's desire, emotions, etc. affect what the djynn can and can't do at a given moment. Essentially, the master is, for the most part, what determines how strong a djynn is.

Roxoar as a Djynn: Roxoar wasn't very happy to find out he was a djynn, because in his world it meant a lot of things... particularly that he could be stuck working for someone awful for the rest of his life. And it was rumored that the super-secret process was very painful. Roxoar managed to evade the notice of the people looking around for djynn for quite a while, but was ultimately unsuccessful. Fortunately, Darcog wasn't entirely awful all the time, and they became good friends.

doesn't like talking to women. (There's a grand total of two he's totally comfortable with: his mom, and Darcog's wife Trina)

More Random Facts:
Apart from thought control, creating life, raising the dead, and changing gender, there isn't much a djynn can't do.
Roxoar doesn't like doing magic in general, although his second favorite thing in the world is flying.
The glowing marks on his limbs that are the color of his magic (called orbyeri) are the visible result of the super-secret- process. The orbyeri caused the blue/black swirls on his limbs as some sort of weird side effect; Roxoar was born solid green.
The orbyeri glows in somewhat direct proportion to how much magic Roxoar is using.
Not only can a djynn use his magic, but he can suck energy from the environment and turn it into magic, and in turn allow other magicians to absorb the djynn's newly acquired said magic.



Erm... I think that's about it now. Anyone know of a synonym for magic? I feel so repetitive.
